Independence

Today I was just talking about how I feel about things in general to a person that I've just met. Things like kpop, movies, personal interests and hobbies etc. He commented on my thoughts saying that my mind is very matured and independent, that I do not follow the crowd just because it is popular. I kind of like it, shows that I am not blindly following the world but I do have my own beliefs.

Just wondering, do I strike you as such a person?
